What's on the Menu? Thursday, 18 February 2010 - Sandra
Love Writing is a feast of sensible advice and insider explanation from a writer who knows what's simmering on the romantic hotplate. Such clarity in a 'How to' publication is welcome, as is Sue Moorcroft's relaxed way of writing. I felt as if she was sitting down with me, enjoying a glass of wine. Thanks also, Sue, for including so many valuable comments from others involved in the book world.

Love Writing - the best self help book around when it comes to writing romantic fiction! Friday, 5 February 2010 - Veronique
The above says it all really - of all the self help books I have read over the years on how to write romantic fiction succesfully (or at least, how to give yourself the best shot possible of being published) this is by far the best.
Easy to read and accessible with a familiar, friendly and witty voice, the structure flows effortlessly and the book contains everything you could hope to find. The tips/Q and A's from editors/published authors give a good balance and as an aspiring romantic novelist myself, I found that this book motivated me to get back to my key board and try again...
An enjoyable as well as informative read, would happily recommend to any aspiring writer.

An excellent resource for new and published writers Wednesday, 3 February 2010 - Lisa
I'm a firm believer that if you're going to learn about something you should do it from someone who knows what they're talking about and Sue Moorcroft certainly knows about writing. Her short stories are regularly published in magazines and she is an accomplished novelist.
I'm not new to writing and have read many 'how to' books before but this one reminded me of the basics and gave me lots of new advice all delivered in an easy to read and absorb, light and sometimes humorous style. Sue also sets exercises throughout the book so there's no excuse for not working that writing muscle. An additional bonus is advice from other authors and publishers of romantic fiction.
After reading this I returned to my desk with renewed inspiration and it will certainly be staying on my reference shelf. | 20 of 37 people found this review helpful. | Was this helpful to you? Yes / No |

Love Writing Wednesday, 6 January 2010 - Janet
A must have for all writers, not just for writers of love stories. It is the most inspirational text book of it's kind that I have ever read, and I have shelves full of them. Well done to Sue, finally we have a way of warding off writers block. Thank you. | 44 of 78 people found this review helpful. | Was this helpful to you? Yes / No |
